The Idea
InMobi Blend was an event conducted in 2019 to celebrate creative thinking across the many design teams within the InMobi Group. The event brought together designers, writers, and creators through a series of workshops, talks, and showcases aimed at sparking new ideas and perspectives.
Blend wasn’t meant to be another offsite or conference. It was a space to pause, reflect, and recharge - to reconnect with the “why” behind what we design every day.
We called it BLEND because it perfectly captured what great design cultures are made of - Belonging, Learning, Exploring, Nurturing, and Discovery.
Five words, one mindset. A reminder that creativity doesn’t thrive in isolation - it grows through exchange.

Logo
The logo became the visual metaphor for this idea - overlapping geometry, woven lines, and intersecting shapes that stood for collaboration and cross-pollination.
2019 also marked 100 years of Bauhaus Movement of Design to which we wanted to pay homage to, It felt right - objective, timeless, and universal. No matter who you were or what you worked on, the shapes spoke to everyone.

The visual system leaned on bold color blocking, rhythmic grids, and the Poppins typeface - a nod to the Bauhaus spirit of “form follows function.”
It gave the event a fresh, contemporary edge while staying true to InMobi’s design sensibilities.

Logo & Visual Identity
Geometry plays a central role in the identity. Clean lines and bold shapes create a visual rhythm that mirrors how designers connect simple ideas to form complex solutions.
It was designed to be modular and responsive - a system that could adapt across merchandise, installations, motion graphics, and even internal dashboards.
For Blend, geometric patterns became a universal language - accessible, playful, and instantly recognizable.
